Berbatov’s Agent Dismisses Move Talk

Dimitar Berbatov is set to remain at Manchester United, according to his agent. Some sources have linked the £30.5 million striker with a move abroad after being left out of the United squad that played Wigan on Saturday, though that was more likely a move by Sir Alex Ferguson to keep him fresh for the Champions League clash with Rangers. Berbatov partnered Wayne Rooney for 76 minutes last night before being replaced by Javier Herndandez.

However, Berbatov’s agent, Emil Dantchev has brushed aside rumours of a move saying: “There’s nothing to say. He will stay in Manchester. All the talk of a move is false.”

de Gea Says He Is Happy At Atletico

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has said he is flattered by interest from Manchester United but that he is happy to stay at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.

De Gea is being linked with a move to Old Trafford even though United are on the brink of signing Aalesund goalkeeper Anders Lindergaard in a £3.5 million deal but the 20-year-old told Spanish newspaper Marca that he is happy where he is and isn’t looking to move on:

“I am delighted and very happy at Atletico and would like to stay here.
“It is a tribute that a great team like Manchester United is interested in me. It’s nice, but I have Atletico deep inside me and I would like to stay here.”

De Gea broke into the Atletico team last season and has since kept out the far more experienced Sergio Asenjo with a string of impressive performances. United have recently been linked with a £15 million move for De Gea as they prepare the succession to Edwin van der Sar who is expected to retire at the end of the season

  1. The quickest way to lose weight

One of my main criticisms of Berba since he came to Old Trafford is the way he can snap at a few of the more youthful players. I don’t forget him berating Kiko Macheda last season for an errant pass and feeling a bit disappointed. After all shouting at 19 year-old’s is not going to support these people. Last night against Rangers Berba was at it again waving his arms about and yelling at others, when possibly he needs been looking just a little closer to home at why he was getting no real joy.

Look at all these Manutd fans… I could forever keep in mind discovering comments about “sell berbatov, he is a flop at 30m, he can not produce, blah blah blah” last season”, now treating him as being a god cause he have a very slight run of form this season. Very same applies to Rooney, few months back with a poor run of form and several controversies, stuffs like “sell roo, we do not want him etc, blah blah blah” could be noticed… Pity that people real manutd fans who’s image have been smeared by these kinds of gloryhunters.
